Description

The COVID-19 vaccines have prompted conversation about safety and effectiveness among health care workers around the world. In addition, families and friends of health care workers have relied upon them to share information and insight into vaccination decision-making. To meet this trust the public has placed in us, it is important that we stop and consider personal perspectives and biases that influence our actions and conversations. Understanding the evidence, analyzing risks and benefits, recognizing and supporting individual choice, considering ethical choices and accepting responsibilities we have as health care workers are factors important to openly confront.

This webinar will explore vaccine hesitance and vaccine confidence concerns voiced by health care workers and the general public and the corresponding evidence that can be used when having the crucial conversations that may influence vaccination decisions.
