The Association for the Health Care Environment Announces Newly Elected and Appointed Advisory Board Members

CHICAGO – The Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE) announces the newly elected At Large Advisory Board Members for the 2023-2025 term and the 2023 Executive Committee. Terms begin January 1, 2023. 

Thomas (Tom) Mattice, CHESP, CMIP, T-CHEST
Tom is the senior director, environmental services at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, Nyack, NY. With over 40 years in health care, Tom has served in support services in acute, long-term and adult care communities as well as in behavioral health and oncology specialties. He has been active in 91°µÍøºÚÁÏeducation and knowledge management, conference planning and contributed to the development and refinement of the 91°µÍøºÚÁÏstaffing calculator. 

Sade' Rolon, MBA, CHESP, T-CSCT, T-CHEST
Sade' is the associate vice president of environmental services at ProMedica Health System in Toledo, OH. She has 16 years' experience in health care environmental services. A member of 91°µÍøºÚÁÏfor 10 years, Sade' is passionate about training, education and competencies, particularly for frontline environmental services technicians. She has served on the conference planning committee and serves as a course facilitator for the 91°µÍøºÚÁÏleadership program, A Seat at the Table. 

Named to the 2023 Executive Committee
Eric Nowak, MBA, T-CHEST, T-CSCT

Eric is associate vice president of hospitality services at Geisinger Health in Danville, PA. He has 8 years of experience leading EVS across 9 hospitals and 7 years as a supply chain professional with Geisinger. Eric has been an 91°µÍøºÚÁÏmember for 7 years, has participated in the review of EVS Department of the Year nominees, and has been active in driving content for the education and knowledge management and served as a subject matter expert for the development of the CHEST train the trainer program. Eric has served two years of a three-year term on the 91°µÍøºÚÁÏAdvisory Board before being tapped to serve on the Executive Committee.
